Project e+: Dementia Community Support Service


In view of the prevalence of dementia among the elderly and a relatively high percentage of elderly in the District,  Kwai Tsing District Office collaborates with HKADA to launch Project e+: Dementia Community Support Service, which aims to raise community awareness of the dementia issue through sustained publicity campaigns; enhance early detection of dementia patients for timely interventions; and provide concrete support to dementia patients and their families.



pop-up health checkup station will be set up at different locations in Kwai Tsing.  Basic health checkup (measurements including blood pressure, fat percentage and BMI) and preliminary quick screening test for residents will be conducted on-site.

In order to reduce social contacts and the risk of spread of novel coronavirus in the community, we announced that the Pop-up Health Checkup Station planned to be held in March will be postponed and rescheduled. The updated schedule will be announced as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Pop-up health checkup station arrangements for rainstorms and typhoons:

1. If typhoon signal no.3 or above or black rainstorm signal is hoisted, the pop-up health checkup station will be canceled. If it has commenced service, HKADA staff will stop the service immediately.

2. The pop-up health checkup station will resume service when the Hong Kong Observatory has canceled typhoon signal no. 3 or above or black rainstorm signal for 3 hours and at least 2 hours before the end of the service session.
