About "Healing Arts for Dementia"
With funding support from The Community Chest of Hong Kong, the HKADA launched a three-year programme, “Healing Arts for Dementia”, using art therapy to support people living with dementia and their caregivers. The programme promotes emotional expression, stress relief, and social interaction through creative activities.
Designed by HKADA’s multidisciplinary team and different Artists, the holistic art programme combines art creation with therapeutic elements and is delivered through a Train-the-Trainer model to extend its impact to community elderly service units.
