Subsidy Scheme for Dementia Services

Supported by
Ms Chan Sau Kuen and Ms Tam Wai Lan

Subsidises people living with dementia from low-income families to access services at the Association’s four Day Centres or receive Inhome Services, ensuring that financial difficulties do not prevent those in need from seeking support. The scheme encourages early and continued intervention to delay cognitive deterioration and maintain quality of life.

Subsided Service :

  Subsidy Details

  • Eligible applicants may receive 2 days per week of Day Centre Service, or 1–2 Inhome Training Service per week (for a duration of 3 months.)

  • During the subsidy period, the service team will assist participants in applying for the Community Care Service Voucher (CCSV) under the Social Welfare Department, to ensure a smooth transition to continued services through the voucher scheme after the subsidy ends.

  • Have a diagnosis of dementia and not be receiving other specialised dementia services

  • Be currently receiving or eligible to receive Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) or Old Age Living Allowance (OALA)
